This is a rare promo cassette. On the cover it states “Advance Cassette For Promotion Only Not For Sale”It was made by Enigma Records to promote the forthcoming album (Against The Law) as well as the “Stars and Stryper” contest.

The contest involved 100 record retailers. On the cassette they play an edited clip of a Stryper song then list of 30 or so record retailers by names and store info. If you heard your name you were to call a special Stryper Hotline 1-800-333-HITS to win $25.00. This is repeated on both sides.

I have no exact number on how many of these were made but I have only seen or heard of a few. My guess would be they only made around 100 of them that were sent to each store for the contest.
