FEBRUARY 4, 2009 - We are pleased to announce Gilvan Rangel of Campina Grande, Brazil as the winning designer of the Murder by Pride artwork contest! Hundreds of submissions were received and carefully reviewed. We were amazed and thrilled by all the accomplished artists in the Stryper network of fans. Many of you are extremely talented and we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone that took time to submit art. Stay tuned to MICHAELSWEET.COM and STRYPER.COM for details on a release date, tour dates, and more. sweetfox74 Stryped Headbanger Joined: Sat Oct 7, 2006, 3:50 pm Posts: 800 Location: New Zealand	Re: "MURDER BY PRIDE" ALBUM ARTWORK CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED! congrats to the winner i really like this Stryper album cover alot, for me it has me just as excited as the classic "To Hell With The Devil" album cover. and for me personally i love the symbolization involved....showing that christians are just as fallen as anyone else, that christians may have hidden dark sides to them just like anyone else....that the christian is truly human in reality.....i like that honesty....and i like that Stryper chose to pick this artwork as the new Stryper album cover, it certainly shows their depth and humility...also their obvious heart for man, that they see themselves as no better than anybody else.....i appreciate that as a non-believer. _________________ Sig by sweetfox74

All upcoming news of the stryper record, tour and anything else Stryper will be released on michaelsweet.com, that being the priority. As you can see the news of the winner is not up at stryper.com, yet anyway. Jeff (webmaster for michaelsweet.com) is amazingly on top of things and I decided that it would be best if he was in charge of bringing the latest Stryper information to the public first. It's the quickest way for Stryper fans to find out the latest, without waiting days or even weeks. Just wanted to clarify things for you so your not giving false information. Thanks, Michael
