FEBRUARY 26, 2009 - This just in....Big3 Records will be setting a firm release date for "Murder by Pride" in the coming weeks. It is scheduled to be released near the end of July, 2009.

ummm....July is over 5 months away
I guess if we have waited nearly 4 years for a follow up what is 5 more months any way right!?

Still...its gonna be awesome, regardless of when its released.

probable reason for moving the release date are 1st and foremost kyle's health and her battle with cancer (get well soon Kyle we are all praying for you) and im pretty sure as much as michael and the band want it released out, kyle's health is more important.

This is very true!
I am complete fine waiting till 2019 if it is because of Kyles health. But, if I have to wait till 2019 because of Big 3 dragging their freak'n feet or some other band bs then it is a crying shame.

The end of July isn't that bad. The new question is when will the tour start? Kyle's health is the most important thing. I personally don't need a tour if Kyle isn't better.

Hey does anyone know, im sure u have it somewhere Luke, the exact date that Y&BA was issued.. was it July of 84? If so, mabe they are doing a 25th anv thing. idk just a thought. i could be wayyyy off. i dont know when it came out as far as the month. i didnt get it til 1988 LOL.

I was hoping for a 25th anniversary edition of "The Yellow & Black Attack" with the original hand of God cover! The original released date was 7/21/84 by Enigma Records.

and guess what.. the 21st falls on new release tuesday.. so that is my prediciton.. Murder by Pride will be released on the 21st of July.. to celebrate the 25th anv of thier first record! yahhh

Still excited. My heart is heavy for Michael, Ellena and Mike Jr. right now. I like how Stryperforum locked all other forums except for Prayers and For Kyle. It keeps the attention on God and prayers concentrated on the family.

It has been nearly 5 weeks now and no word on the album or a firm release date...

I'm pretty sure that they are waiting for Michael and his family to find some sort of normalsy. They won't announce the date until he is ok.
