I Just spoke with the HOB Dallas and he CONFIMED that the DALLAS show has been postponed!

The HOB website claims the STRYPER show tonight is POSTPONED?!?!?

I'll pray for Michael. Did the HOB give an indication of a replacement date on their schedule? I assume that it will have to be after the 1st of the year...

Sorry Dallas and Houston - We have had to cancel the House Of Blues shows due to Michael being sick. He has lost his voice and has been under doctor care for the last 3 days but can't sing at this time. The shows will be made up at a later date.

Well, good news for us on December 22nd in Dallas. I hope it works out for everyone else and of course I hope that Michael gets better!!!

Stryper is totally gonna make it up to you guys. I hope they film these rescheduled shows !

see reports all over the nation where bad cases of the flu are hitting
America and had hoped we could make it through this entire tour without

I have seen a doctor and am on medication and anticipate a speedy
recovery. My sincerest apologies to all the fans for this inconvenience

segment of the show. It’ll be great to spend the holidays with our
friends and fans in Dallas and Houston.”

The rescheduled shows
will include a special Christmas segment and will include the fan
favorite ‘Reason for the Season’, never before performed live at a

STRYPER has postponed their concerts scheduled for tonight Wednesday November 4 (Dallas – House of Blues) and Thursday November 5 (Houston – House of Blues) due to artist illness.

The rescheduled dates are December 21 (Houston – House of Blues) and December 22 (Dallas – House of Blues).

I text Michael to tell him how sorry I was to hear that they had to postponed the Dallas & Houston shows and to let him know I was praying for him to get well soon and that I would catch them in December.

He replied below:
Thank you my friend - unfortunately as a singer, when you get sick and lose your voice from the virus, there's nothing you can do about (it) but rest. My apologies!

From what Mike has said and from what Tim has said I know they are just as disappointed about postponing the shows as we are about missing them. Oh well, I guess I will have a very Stryper Christmas this year!

I can imagine traveling in a tour bus plus nightly meet n greets is a great way to keep the flu bug going around. Would also be miserable being away from home while sick. Hope you get well soon Michael and the remainder of the tour is healthy and prosperous.

Even though I'm disappointed because I have been waiting for this concert since May 1st when I bought my tickets. I'm going to look at the positives...

1) I will hopefully have both versions of "By His Strypes" that I've pre-order in hand to have autographed.

2) I will hopefully have the limited edition picture disc LP of "Murder by Pride" that I've pre-order in hand to have autographed.

3) STRYPER singing Reason For The Season!

maybe they'll do happy birthday for tim too!
