Dbeality is a traditional doom metal band based in South Carolina, USA. Dbeality was formed in 2003 by metal vocalist and veteran, David Benson, and guitarist, Dale Greer. David is best known for his signature vocal style that is often compared to Ozzy Osbourne.Dbeality stands for a “New Sound Reality”. Dbeality’s self-titled CD was produced by Robert Sweet of Stryper. Robert not only produced Dbeality but also played drums.Dbeality is currently working on their second yet untitled album which is being produced by the legendary metal rock producer, Neil Kernon. Robert Sweet returns to handle drumming duties again. |

Stepping in as co-producer (& guest drummer on three songs) is Robert Sweet of Stryper fame, a longtime friend of Lynn Edward Glezen. This is a very limited edition EP hand number “184 of 444″ released only by the band. The first four songs would wind up on the album “Waking Up The Dead”. The track “Medley” can only be found on this CD. “Medley” is only a mix of the songs that ended up on the “Waking Up The Dead”. This is just cool to have.

Robert writes all the songs and plays all the instruments on this album. Ex-Fear Not vocalist Larry Worley handles all the vocals. This album is a definite departure from the Stryper sound of old, seeing Robert go for a more driving modern hard rock sound. This disc was self released.

King James is a metal/rock supergroup formed in 1993 by guitarist Rex Carroll (Whitecross). He joined former Sacred Fire frontman, Jimi Bennett to form the band. They recruited Robert Sweet and Tim Gaines , of Stryper, and released their first album in 1994. The band supported the album with a tour, but Gaines departed shortly after. Sweet continued to tour with the band into 1996. |

Back in 1976 when Robert was 17 he had a band called Firestorm. Michael was given the chance to try out for vocals and without a doubt earned a place in the band.
This is a mega rare copy of a high school talent show of Firestorm performing the classic song “Johnny B Good” it features Robert Sweet on drums and Michael Sweet on vocals!
